On arrival at SUJÁN Jawai, you will be welcomed with a refreshing drink and shown to your accommodation, where the views of the surrounding wilderness are breathtaking.
As the sun sets, the landscape comes alive with the sounds of wildlife, you embark on your first game-drive looking for leopards, antelope, wild boars and different species of birds in the region. Back at camp after a sunset, a gourmet dinner under the stars awaits you, immersing you in the tranquility of Western India.
DAY 2
The day begins before sunrise with a peaceful game drive. Your expert guide will share insights on tracking leopards, the unique ecology of this semi-arid reserve, and most-importantly the conservation and rewilding journey of SUJÁN Jawai.
After the morning adventure, return to camp for a leisurely breakfast and a midday rest, enjoying the serene surroundings, take a dip at the temperature controlled swimming pool, opt for a spa experience or a bush-walk with your guide and a Rabari tribesman. The afternoon brings a second safari during the golden hours followed by a dinner back at camp.
Day 3
Sip a hot cup of coffee followed by your final morning game drive. Breakfast back at camp and then depart Jawai for a transfer to Udaipur. Upon arrival in the city, check in to the Taj Lake Palace. Spend the afternoon exploring the palace grounds, relaxing in the serene surroundings, or enjoying a traditional Rajasthani meal. The evening can be spent exploring the Heritage Palace Hotel and savoring the regal ambiance.
DAY 4
Today is dedicated to exploring the highlights of Udaipur, often called the “City of Lakes.” Begin with a visit to the magnificent City Palace, where intricate architecture, courtyards, and museums offer a glimpse into the royal heritage. Continue to the picturesque Jag Mandir or Jagdish Temple, and take a peaceful boat ride on Lake Pichola, admiring the city’s shimmering reflections. Stroll through local bazaars to browse traditional handicrafts, textiles, and souvenirs. As the day ends, enjoy sunset views from Monsoon Palace or a lakeside café, soaking in the romantic charm of Udaipur.
Day 5
After a leisurely breakfast, drive onward to Chunda Shikar Oudi, a beautifully restored royal hunting lodge nestled on the edge of the serene Jaisamand Lake. Once the private retreat of the Mewar royalty, the lodge blends old-world charm with wilderness seclusion, offering sweeping views of the Aravallis, forested hills and tranquil waters. Arrive and unwind at your own pace, soaking in the stillness and heritage character of the property. As evening approaches, set out for a magical boat sundowner, gliding across the lake. Return to the lodge for a delightful dinner featuring traditional Mewari cuisine, rich with local flavours and time-honoured recipes.
DAY 6
Wake early to the sounds of the wild for a morning game drive, exploring the surrounding forests and countryside where antelope, birdlife and smaller wildlife roam freely.
After lunch, choose between a relaxed fishing experience by the lake or an immersive guided bush walk, discovering the region’s flora, fauna and rural life at a slower pace. As the day cools, head out once more for an evening game drive or bush walk, ending the day back at the lodge with the peaceful glow of the wilderness all around.
Day 7

Midday is reserved for a relaxed lunch and some downtime, allowing you to recharge for the afternoon safari. Evening drives capture the forest at sunset, offering unique opportunities to observe wildlife in a different light. Over these two days, every safari is a new adventure, filled with anticipation, discovery, and the thrill of spotting majestic creatures in their natural habitat.
