Private Luxury Botswana Safari from USA | Okavango Delta Experience
For American travellers, Botswana is Africa at its most exclusive, and the Okavango Delta is its crown jewel. Ameliya Safaris designs private luxury safaris for guests who want the wild to themselves: small camps, vast concessions, no crowds. Our Delta journeys move by water and land, gliding through papyrus channels by mokoro at dawn, tracking lion, leopard, elephant and buffalo, and watching rare wild dogs hunt the floodplains. June to October brings deep floodwaters and concentrated wildlife; the green season, November to March, rewards with newborns, birdlife and gentler rates. Botswana’s finest camps hold a handful of tents and sell out a year ahead.
Luxury Botswana Holidays from Europe | Okavango & Chobe Safari
For travellers from the UK, Germany, France and the Netherlands, Botswana is Africa at its most exclusive, and few journeys pair as naturally as the Okavango Delta and Chobe. Ameliya Safaris designs luxury Botswana holidays in a country whose low-impact, high-value tourism model is a benchmark for conservation. Glide through papyrus channels by mokoro at dawn, track lion and leopard on private game drives, then drift past Chobe’s vast elephant herds, the largest population on earth, on a sunset river cruise. June to October brings deep floodwaters and concentrated wildlife, aligning perfectly with European summer holidays. Botswana’s finest camps sell out a year ahead.

Ameliya Safaris was built with a motto in mind- βWhat we can see, we can love, and what we love, we will fight to protectβ We dedicate 5% of proceeds from every itinerary to conservation, tailoring each journey not just to you, but to its positive impact on the people, places, and wildlife it touches.
That commitment is already at work in the field. We’ve electrified 175 anti-poaching camps with solar lamps and equipped rangers with 200 raincoats, 250 pairs of boots, 200 field bags, and 225 solar-powered torches β the essential gear behind every patrol. We have also rescued over 500 conflicted wild animals through our partnership with RESQ CT.Β
On the fringes of Bandhavgarh National Park, three waterholes we built now sustain more than three tiger families, five resident leopards, three sloth bears, and countless herbivores and birds. One of these waterholes is within the new Ameliya Conservancy – an abandoned farmland that we rehabilitated into a wild forest patch by planting one native tree for every guest on safari with Ameliya.
We also believe education is the backbone of conservation. Through partnerships with organizations like The Last Wilderness Foundation and World Wildlife Fund, we invest in the communities living alongside wild animals β and the children who will one day protect them.
