The Experience (I)

Soon after landing at the Delhi airport, the guests were met by our VIP meet & assist service who helped them through customs and immigration, and transferred them to the hotel. They spent the next two days exploring the city in a private vehicle with their chauffeur-guide, before embarking on a private-jet transfer to the city of Agra and visiting the Taj Mahal.

The same jet flew them to an airstrip near Kanha National Park where they were met with their Private Guide. The next few days were spent on exclusive safaris tracking tigers, leopards and other animals and guided nature walks to look for birds and appreciate the smaller things you miss from a vehicle. They also visited a tribal village to interact with local communities and an ancient temple to learn about the Hindu gods.

Afternoons provided opportunities for yoga & meditation or indulging in a rejuvenating Ayurvedic massage, or simply to relax. Evenings were a time for celebration by the fire, with a sampling of traditional Indian beverages, chef-crafted 5-course dinner and captivating conversations with their Private Guide.

The Review

The Experience (II)

The journey began with the guests landing in Delhi, and settling into their rooms after enjoying a welcome drink & dinner at the hotel. The next morning they drove to Agra in a chauffeur-driven vehicle. The afternoon was spent with their private guide, exploring the city’s street markets cultural landmarks, and historic architecture. The next morning they were up early to witness the sunrise at the Taj Mahal – the best and most peaceful time to visit this man-made wonder.

After breakfast, they drove back to Delhi and spent a night relaxing and unwinding before taking a flight the next morning to Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve.

The next few days established a rhythm of early mornings on safari, searching for tigers, leopards, bears, and other animals. The safaris were complimented with Ameliya’s classic picnic breakfasts enjoyed under the open sky.

Afternoons offered much-needed siesta time by the pool with a cold beer in hand, before heading out for the evening safari. Some days, the guests skipped on a safari to visit ancient temples, where they learned about Hindu gods, and a tribal village to interact with the communities.

On the final evening, the group enjoyed a beautiful sundowner experience and spent time reminiscing about their experience, around the fire and under a thousand stars. This was followed by a delicious three-course bush dinner.

The last morning was filled with bittersweet goodbyes and a promise to visit again.
