The Forgotten City:

Khajuraho is made up of ancient Hindu and Jain temples that were built in 885 CE and 1000 CE by the Chandela dynasty. These temples are renowned for their intricate sculptures and spell-binding architecture, and have been titled as UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. But what most don’t know is the rich history this once-forgotten city holds, and how it has preserved the true spirit of Hundu culture. Walking along the temples today, you’ll find many yogis meditating, either alone, or with their disciples. The walls that exhibit exquisite craftsmanship also hold ancient traditions and practices, attracting visitors from around the world. A visit here is bound to leave you in awe.
