Serengeti National Park is a hotspot for wildlife activity, and home to Africa’s most fascinating wildlife phenomenon, the Great Migration -where 2 million wildebeest, zebra, and Thomson’s gazelles move together across the plains, predators following closely in their wake. From prides of Lions, to cheetahs, to the majestic elephant herds, Serengeti is one of the best places to view wildlife on Earth.

SEASONS

Zambia’s subtropical climate offers warm and pleasant weather throughout most of the year, especially during the rainy season (roughly November to April) and the later part of the dry season (May to mid-August). However, the northern regions experience a cool-down during the dry season (May to August), making them a bit chillier compared to the rest of the country.
