    Here’s something interesting…

The area that is now Tadoba National Park used to be a hunting ground for the Gond rulers and later the British colonialists. They used these places to hunt animals for fun. After India became independent, people started working to protect wildlife. In 1955, Tadoba was declared a wildlife sanctuary to save its special plants and animals. In 1970, Tadoba Wildlife Sanctuary became part of Project Tiger, a national plan to save Bengal tigers.
