Day - Wise Itinerary
Day 1
- Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport, begin your scenic road journey to your homestay (approx 5 hrs). En route, stop at the IndoβNepal border, where our representative will assist you with the immigration formalities, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free crossing. After a leisurely lunch break along the way, continue your drive through the picturesque Himalayan foothills until you reach your homestay.
- On arrival, settle into your comfortable rooms and enjoy a refreshing welcome drink. Later in the evening, meet your private guide for a detailed briefing on the exciting days ahead, offering an introduction to the expedition and what you can expect during your time in the region.
- As night falls, savour a delicious local Nepali thali before turning in early. A restful night’s sleep is the perfect beginning to the unforgettable adventure that awaits.
Note: There would be a change of vehicle for the last 1.5 hours of the drive. The terrain is difficult and can only be navigated by 4×4 vehicles.
Day 2-4
- Wake to the soothing chorus of Himalayan birdlife and begin your morning with a freshly brewed cup of tea or coffee by the warmth of the fireside. After a hearty breakfast, set out on your first guided search for the elusive Red Panda.Β
- As you hike through Nepal’s enchanting rhododendron and bamboo forests, keep an eye out for the region’s remarkable wildlife. Along the way, you may encounter a variety of rare Himalayan birds and mammals that call these pristine forests home. Singalila and the forests around are home to other mammalian species such as the yellow-throated marten, the Himalayan black bear, barking deer, leopards, and more.
- Bird Species Highlights: Satyr Tragopan, Fire – Tailed Myzornis, Golden-breasted Fulvetta, Himalayan Griffon, Chestnut-crowned laughingthrush, etc
- In the afternoon, pause for a scenic picnic lunch amidst the tranquillity of the forest, surrounded by breathtaking mountain vistas. After a rewarding day in the field, return to your homestay to relax and reflect on the day’s sightings
Day 5
- Begin the day before dawn as you head out to witness a spectacular sunrise over the mighty Kanchenjunga. With a steaming cup of tea or coffee in hand, watch the first rays of sunlight bathe the Himalayan peaks in brilliant shades of goldβa truly unforgettable spectacle.
- Return to the lodge by late morning and enjoy some time at leisure. Read up your favourite book, or unwind over a friendly game of pool.
- Later in the evening, visit a local home for an authentic glimpse into the traditional way of life in the region. You may even have the opportunity to sample a locally brewed beverage while interacting with your hosts.
- Return to your homestay for a sumptuous dinner, reflecting on the memorable experiences and wildlife encounters that have made your time in the land of the Red Pandas so special.
Day 6
- After a hot breakfast at camp, check out and set out on your return to Bagdogra airport (approx 5 hrs). From Bagdogra, board your flight back to Delhi, taking with you unforgettable memories of your incredible wildlife adventure.

- All tours operate on 100% advance payment.Β
- We require a 50% deposit at the time of booking and 50% 45 days prior to the trip start date.
- These rates are applicable to Indian Nationals only. All foreign nationals must contact us on Reservations@AmeliyaSafaris.com
- Rates are subject to change and are not applicable for Christmas/New Years/Diwali.
- Rates are valid for 2025-2026 season only. Rates for next season will incur a 10% hike.
- Any changes in government taxes and park fees have to be borne by
the guests. - We reserve the right to revise any published costs without prior notice. However,
confirmed bookings will be honored.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy
- 30%Β is non-refundable once the payment is done.
- The remaining amount will be refunded if cancellation is done 45 days prior to the tour start dates.Β
- Between 45-30 days, 50% will be refunded. No refund if cancellation is done between 0 β 30 days of the tour.

- The cancellation amount is calculated as per the total booking amount and not as per the advance deposited.
- No refunds in case of refusal to use a service/activity mentioned in the itinerary.Β Β
- Safari bookings are non-transferable as safari permits are issued by the Government under specified names and strictly enforced.
