    Payment Terms

    • All tours operate on 100% advance payment.
    • 50% need to be paid at the time of booking, 25% is due 120 days prior to the trip start date and 25% 90 days prior. 
    • The preferred mode of payment is Bank Wire. All card transactions will incur a 3.5% service fee.
    • Rates are subject to change and are not applicable for Christmas/New Years. Rates are valid for 2024 only. Rates for 2025 will incur a 10% hike.
    • Any changes in government taxes and park/conservancy fees have to be borne by the guests.
    • We reserve the right to revise any published costs without prior notice. However, confirmed bookings will be honoured.

    Cancellation Policy

    • 50% is non-refundable once the payment is done.
    • The remaining amount will be refunded if cancellation is done 120 days prior to the tour start dates. Between 90-120 days, 35% is refunded. 
    • No refund if cancellation is done between 0 – 90 days of the trip start date. Amendment in dates within 90 days from arrival is treated as a cancellation.
    • Please note that the date of written communication (e-mail) of intent to cancel will be the date considered for the calculation of the cancellation fees.
    • The cancellation amount is calculated as per the total booking amount and not as per the advance deposited.
    • No refunds in case of refusal to use a service/activity mentioned in the itinerary.
    • All refunds are processed minus bank charges.

    Day 1

    Take a flight from New Delhi to Jabalpur in the morning followed by a 4 hour scenic road transfer to Kanha National Park. Arrive in Kanha by noon and settle into your rooms. Later, you will meet with your Ameliya Private Guide & Host who will go over the plan for the next few days and understand your preferences so they can fine-tune things in a more personalised manner. Post-lunch, settle into your charming tents and have some time to unwind. At night, savour an authentic dinner made with locally sourced organic ingredients and sit by the fireside to enjoy the star-studded sky.

    DAY 2

    Early mornings set the stage for thrilling adventures with a wake-up call before dawn and an exhilarating safari alongside your private guide, looking for Tigers, Leopards, Sloth Bear, Wild dogs and more. 

     

    During the morning drives you will stop for a picnic breakfast along with fresh coffee & tea. This is a great time to ask your guide to share some of their most epic encounters with wildlife. You will arrive back at the lodge by noon. The afternoon back at camp offers a chance to relax and unwind by the poolside, before venturing out on an evening safari which ends at sunset.

    Day 3

    Rise early for a refreshing cup of coffee before embarking on another exciting morning safari. Watch your guide expertly navigate the jungle roads and show how to identify tracks & signs, spot animals, understand their behaviour, and capture stunning photographs. 

     

    In the evening, go on a walking safari alongside the Banjaar river with your private guide, getting a closer view of the small creatures that are often missed when you’re on a vehicle. Gain fascinating insights into the lives of the flora & fauna, as well as people that live alongside them. 

     

    DAY 4

    Early mornings set the stage for thrilling adventures with a wake-up call before dawn and an exhilarating safari alongside your private guide, looking for Tigers, Leopards, Sloth Bear, Wild dogs and more.

    DAY 5

    Enjoy a leisurely morning at your own pace. After a heartwarming breakfast, it’s time for check-out and say goodbyes to your new safari family. Transfer to Jabalpur airport (4 hrs) followed by a flight (1.5 hrs) to the hotel in New Delhi. Take time to unwind by booking a spa appointment or exploring the area around your hotel. Bed & Breakfast are included in the overnight stay in New Delhi. (optional cultural extension of New Delhi sightseeing and a day-trip to Taj Mahal in Agra) 

    DAY 6

     

    After breakfast, take a flight from Delhi to Udaipur. On arrival, embark on a scenic 3-hour road journey to Jawai, a hidden gem nestled in the Aravalli Hills of Rajasthan. Settle in at the exclusive Sujan Camp, a paradise set against the billion-year old granite rocks where Leopards roam free and co-exist peacefully with the traditional Rabari Tribe. 

     

    Have some time to unwind, sip on a cool drink next to the pool and a 3-course meal. As dusk settles, embark on your first game drive searching for the elusive leopard amidst the iconic landscapes of Jawai.

    Day 7

    Rise before the sun for your second safari – a pre-dawn adventure following the natural schedule of Jawai’s wildlife. Follow this up with a captivating community visit. Delve into the rich tapestry of Jawai’s culture, and understand how these communities live harmoniously with their wild neighbours.

     

    Spend an afternoon at your leisure, unwinding amidst the serenity of this pristine paradise. Opt in for a traditional Indian massage or relax in the comfort of your luxury tent.  As evening approaches, join a Rabari tribesman for a unique experience on foot. Learn about their traditional ways of life and gain insights into their deep connection with the land. Conclude the day with a magical sundowner experience, sipping on refreshing drinks while the desert sky bursts into a blaze of colour.

    DAY 8

     

    Start your day with a rejuvenating sunrise yoga session, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of Jawai. For experienced riders, an unforgettable horseback safari awaits, offering a thrilling perspective of the rugged hills. Alternatively, embark on another game drive, searching for the majestic leopard and other captivating wildlife. The afternoon is yours to relax, explore the hills by bicycle, or simply soak in the serene atmosphere. As evening descends, choose between another exciting game drive or a unique exploration of the hills by bicycle.

    Rise early for one last exhilarating morning safari, searching for the majestic leopard. After breakfast, it’s time to check out and transfer to Udaipur Airport for your onward journey.     Kanha National Park

    Two main species attract most of the people to Kanha- The Barasingha (the state animal of Madhya Pradesh), a magnificent swamp deer known for its impressive antlers; and the Royal Bengal Tiger. However, the park also shelters a diverse array of wildlife, including 40 species of mammals such as leopards, sloth bears, wild dogs, the rare Asian Otters, the Indian Gaur, and over 250 species of birds. 

    Jawai Leopard Reserve

    Jawai is home to a wide variety of interesting animal and bird species, but there’s one predator that this sanctuary is famous for- The Indian Leopard. Being the apex predators of the region, leopards can be seen running wild and free in the rocky terrain of the Jawai, along with powerful herbivores like the Nilgai, the slender Indian Gazelle, crocodiles around the Jawai dam, and migratory birds such as flamingoes during the winter season.

    There are two categories of rooms:

    1. Single Occupancy: Where you get the entire room to yourself

    2. Twin-Sharing: Where you are paired up with another member of the group and share the room with them

    The cost of the tour is per-person.

    No, this tour is for everyone interested in exploring the beauty of our natural world. Take back experiences and memories of a lifetime, make new friends who share a similar interest, and most importantly connect with nature.

    You can arrive without a camera, and just take back memories and experiences.

    THIS TOUR IS FOR YOU

    All Central Indian National Parks are located in a very remote region of India with the nearest hospitals being 4 hours away.


    Important Notes:

    • Please carry your personal medications.
    • Expecting mothers, patients with heart conditions, and any other health ailment that require constant medical attentions are advised not to travel.

    Please ensure that you are carrying a Government issued photo ID with you at all times during your travel.

    For foreign nationals, a valid passport and visa is required for travel to India and entry into the National Park

    If you are allergic to any food items, kindly inform at the time of check-in. A delectable spread of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is served at all the lodges. Breakfast is the combination of variety and choices from the varied cuisine and is usually served in the park, during the safari itself.

     

     

    All lodges have basic internet connection. The offices in the lodges have an extra computer which can be used free of cost for emailing. Internet may not be reliable at all times as breakdowns take time to fix as we are remotely located.

    If you are simply coming to enjoy the beauty of the national park and learn more about wildlife from Suyash, then you don’t need to bring any equipment with you.

    If you are coming on this trip to learn photography then you are strongly recommended to bring your own camera. We suggest brining a combination lenses, such as a zoom lens as well as a wide-angle lens. Super telephoto lenses are also excellent. If you would like to rent any equipment, please contact us in advance.

    Smartphones are also very handy these days and your Ameliya Guide/ Photography Mentor can train you on the best way to use them.

    Practical colors to wear to the park are khaki, beige and white in all seasons. Please avoid bright and flashy clothing and strong perfumes/deodorant. It is advisable not to wear sandals or shorts during nature walks
