Day- Wise Itinerary
Day 01 - Brazzaville
Arrive in Brazzaville, the gateway to your journey into the Congo Basin. After completing immigration and settling into your hotel, enjoy a relaxed evening before your expedition into Odzala-Kokoua National Park begins. Overnight in Brazzaville.
Day 02 - Ndzehi Concession
After breakfast, board Kamba Africa’s scheduled charter flight to Odzala Airstrip (approximately 2 hours). From here, continue by 4×4 through the forest landscapes of the Congo Basin to Ngaga Lodge (approximately 3.5 hours), located in the remote Ndzehi Forest.
Arrive at the lodge and settle into your forest surroundings. As evening approaches, enjoy your first introduction to the rainforest, listening to the sounds of the forest and experiencing the magic of this untouched wilderness.
Day 03 - Ndzehi Concession
Begin your first immersive rainforest experience with a guided gorilla tracking excursion. Accompanied by expert trackers, venture deep into the forest in search of habituated Western Lowland Gorillas. Spend time observing these remarkable great apes in their natural habitat before returning to the lodge.
Later, explore the surrounding forest trails or enjoy a relaxing sundowner surrounded by the sounds of the Congo Basin.
Day 04 - Ndzehi Concession
Return to the rainforest for another opportunity to track Western Lowland Gorillas and explore the incredible biodiversity of the Ndzehi Forest. Beyond gorillas, guided walks reveal primates, birds, ancient trees, and the hidden details of this complex ecosystem.
As night falls, embark on a guided nocturnal walk searching for the rainforest’s elusive after-dark species.
Day 05 - Lango Baï
After breakfast, depart Ngaga Lodge and travel through the landscapes of Odzala towards mboko Lodge, passing through Mombo village. Enjoy lunch and refreshments at mboko before continuing the journey by kayak along the waterways of the Congo Basin towards Lango Lodge.
Arrive at Lango, beautifully positioned overlooking the legendary Lango Baï, and settle into your forest surroundings.
Day 06 - Lango Baï
Today is dedicated to exploring the remarkable Lango Baï ecosystem. Walk through this unique forest clearing with expert naturalists, where Forest Elephants, Forest Buffalo, Bongos, and other wildlife gather in this mineral-rich habitat.
Spend the afternoon birdwatching and capturing the atmosphere of one of the Congo Basin’s most extraordinary landscapes before enjoying a spectacular sundowner overlooking the wilderness.
Day 07 - Mboko
After breakfast, depart Lango and travel towards mboko Lodge through the changing landscapes of Odzala, where rainforest meets open savanna. Arrive at mboko Lodge, located along the tranquil Lékoli River in the southern sector of the national park.
Spend the afternoon discovering the surrounding landscapes and enjoying the peaceful setting of the lodge.
Day 08 - Mboko
Explore the diverse habitats surrounding mboko through guided river excursions and nature walks. Glide along the Lékoli River, search for rainforest birds and wildlife along the waterways, and discover the unique transition between savanna and forest ecosystems.
Enjoy a final evening surrounded by the sounds of the Congo Basin.
Day 09 - Departure
After breakfast, transfer to mboko Airstrip for your scheduled charter flight back to Brazzaville (approximately 2 hours). Continue with your onward international connection, carrying unforgettable memories of an immersive journey through one of Africa’s last great wildernesses.

Payment Terms
- All tours operate on 100% advance payment.
- 50% need to be paid at the time of booking, 25% is due 120 days prior to the trip start date and 25% 90 days prior.
- The preferred mode of payment is Bank Wire. All card transactions will incur a 3.5% service fee.
- Rates are subject to change and are not applicable for Christmas/New Years. Rates are valid for 2024 only. Rates for 2025 will incur a 10% hike.
- Any changes in government taxes and park/conservancy fees have to be borne by the guests.
- We reserve the right to revise any published costs without prior notice. However, confirmed bookings will be honoured.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy
- 50% is non-refundable once the payment is done.
- The remaining amount will be refunded if cancellation is done 120 days prior to the tour start dates. Between 90-120 days, 35% is refunded.
- No refund if cancellation is done between 0 – 90 days of the trip start date. Amendment in dates within 90 days from arrival is treated as a cancellation.
- Please note that the date of written communication (e-mail) of intent to cancel will be the date considered for the calculation of the cancellation fees.
- The cancellation amount is calculated as per the total booking amount and not as per the advance deposited.
- No refunds in case of refusal to use a service/activity mentioned in the itinerary.
- All refunds are processed minus bank charges.
