Luxury safaris in Botswana

Botswana is one of my favorite places to vacation but this was my first time going with Ameliya Safaris and I was really looking forward to what they had in store for me. Needless to say, it was an extraordinary one from start to finish. We always travel during the school holidays in America but this time we decided to head out during the green season. From the moment I landed in Botswana, I could really feel the attention to detail in everything that the company planned for us. The lodges were fantastic, the perfect combination of raw beauty and luxury. Every day it felt like I was waking up in my own little oasis. The game drives were beyond incredible (as they always are in any part of Botswana), but what really stole the show for me were the ‘Signature Sundowners’ with our guide Suyash. It felt like they added layers of meaning to everything we saw- drinks in hand, watching the sun set over the stunning landscape and the animated story-telling by Suyash. It was the perfect way to reflect on the day's adventure and soak in the beauty of Botswana. He was also kind enough to teach us how to use our cameras properly during the trip. I wholeheartedly recommend Ameliya Safaris. This trip was beyond perfect and I can’t wait to return!

When it comes to luxury African safaris, I haven’t met anyone who does it better than Ameliya Safaris. This was my first trip to Africa and as Indians we have a tendency to only think of Masai Mara in Kenya. Ameliya pushed us to go to Botswana which is very remote and exclusive, and honestly the trip was ten times better than what I had imagined. I experienced every single thing on my Botswana bucket list and then some more. Everything was perfectly organized from day one to the last and I can honestly say that this was the most amazing safari trip I have ever had. All thanks to Suyash and the team- for making sure that our travel from India to Botswana was seamless, arranging such gorgeous stays and the best of safari guides, for ensuring that we could enjoy a crowd-free wildlife viewing, and of course, for the unforgettable sundowners, mokoro boat ride and helicopter safari. This has become a core memory for me and I wanna come back when our kids get older.
