Day- Wise Itinerary
Day 1 - 4 | Mana Pools, Kanga Expeditions
Your journey opens in Mana Pools, a World Heritage wilderness where river, forest, and floodplain meet in a spellbinding dance of life. At Kanga Expeditions, the wild gather at the camp’s waterhole – elephants linger in the heat of the day, wild dogs appear like shadows, and lions drift close, sometimes within sight of your deck. Days unfold in harmony with the land: walking softly through ancient forests with expert guides, drifting by canoe along the Zambezi’s shimmering channels, or following predators across sunlit floodplains. As evening falls, lanterns flicker and fireside dinners cast their glow, wrapping you in the raw, untamed soul of Africa.
Day 4 - 7 | Hwange, Somalisa Expeditions
From Mana Pools, your journey drifts onward with a short flight into the wild heart of Hwange—Zimbabwe’s largest national park and a kingdom of elephants. Here, at Somalisa Expeditions, the day begins and ends at the waterhole, where herds appear like an endless tide: mothers and calves, great tuskers, and restless bulls, all gathering as if summoned by the fading light. Safaris take you deep into teak forests and across wide savannahs, where the air is alive with spoor, birdcall, and the low thunder of distant hooves. And when night falls, you return to lantern-lit tents and the warmth of the fire, with lions calling somewhere beyond the canvas and stars spilling endlessly across the sky.

Locations
Mana Pools
Mana Pools
Mana Pools lies quiet and wild along the Zambezi, where the river bends into shimmering pools that hold the sky. Elephants wade through water, trunks raised, framed by albida trees that drop sweet pods onto cracked earth. The air is thick with birdsong and the breath of hippos. At dusk, the bush glows amber, and the stillness feels sacred, like the land is holding its breath.

Hwange National Park

Hwange National Park
Hwange National Park unfolds in golden grass and acacia shade, where elephants move like ancient giants through dust and silence. Lions rest in the heat, eyes half-closed but watching. The air carries the scent of earth and wildness, pierced by the distant cry of a fish eagle. Here, time slows, and the land speaks in the rhythm of hoofbeats and rustling leaves.
