AMELIYA SAFARIS - SIGNATURE EXPERIENCES

THE JAMOON EXPEDITION

9 NIGHTS & 10 DAYS | PRIVATELY GUIDED

Jamoon at a Glance

Wildlife

In the dense Sal forests on the edge of Corbett National Park, ten acres of wilderness unfold beside the Ramganga River. The Jamoon Expedition takes you deep into this untamed corner of India on foot, in search of more than 600 species of birds, and walking the same trails as animals such as Asian Elephants, the Bengal Tiger, Leopards, Sloth Bears. You may not see them easily, but their presence can be felt all around you. Built on a principle of minimalism, it offers something increasingly rare: nature in its purest, rawest form, in the foothills of the Himalayas.

Experience

Jamoon is NOT built for travelers of every kind. It is specifically for serious wildlife enthusiasts, birders, hikers, photographers, artists and writers looking to disconnect completely from the outer world. You can embark on daily hikes, river explorations, record wildlife through camera traps, or from a specially designed hide overlooking a waterhole. Birders can spend hours in the bird hide or set out on dedicated birding walks in search of the region’s 600+ species. Artists and writers find in Jamoon a rare kind of quiet, the sort that switches off the noise and switches on creativity. And for corporate professionals seeking to unplug, Jamoon offers exactly that: a genuine escape to refresh and reset. But remember, luxury here is the location itself, not the accommodation and its amenities.

The Jamoon Expedition- explore the raw beauty of the forest and wildlife on foot.
