Group Departures

The adventure kicked off before our guests had even reached the lodge. A tiny bush plane, a runway carved into the middle of nowhere, and the views of the savannah were just the beginning of this once-in-a-lifetime experience. On the game drive in, our guests were in awe of the zebras and giraffes roaming freely like they owned the place because, well, they do. 

Chilled drinks, warm smiles, and golden-hour views welcomed our guests to the lodge, which was followed by a dinner so good, it almost upstaged the wildlife. Almost. The next morning had other plans for our guests. A lion, resting peacefully in the open grasslands, became somebody’s first-ever lion sighting in the wild! Cue the surprised faces and happy tears. From there on, it was one unforgettable memory after another, spotting elephants, giraffes and even more zebras. 

The days that followed passed in the most magical way. No two drives were the same, none of the paths were left unexplored, and between the second and the fifth cup of coffee each day, the group of strangers became friends who bonded over their shared love for wildlife. The last night ended with laughter, stories and a shared memory. Just like that, it was time to say goodbye to another group, who left the lodge already talking about booking their next visit!
